This website was created with the purpose of helping our Chilean friends in Coipin, municipality of Ninhue, 45 kilometres towards the coast from Chillan in southern Chile near the recent earthquake zone. One of Chile’s national heroes, Arturo Prat Chacon, was baptized in Ninhue.


Following the earthquake of February 27, 2010, around 90% of the houses in their area had fallen to the ground or were severely damaged, as they were made of adobe, a traditional method of construction which consists of mud mixed with hay. We have formed our group dedicated to helping this small village which was hit by the earthquake to help begin the process of rebuilding their community.

Our group is 100% volunteered towards our cause and 100% of proceeds are from donations. So far we have raised enough money to buy a truckload of lumber and a box of medicine which were delivered to them from Nueva Imperial and Santiago in Chile over a week ago.

We are currently raffling off tickets to win a case of 6 bottles of Undurraga red wine donated by the Chilean Consul General in Vancouver, and all proceeds are going towards helping the schoolchildren of Coipin, whose school was damaged by the earthquake.

Esta pagina ha sido creada con el proposito de ayudar a nuestros amigos chilenos de Coipin, municipalidad de Ninhue, 45 kilometros a la costa de Chillan. Es una de las comunas mas humildes de Chile y su poblacion es de 5400. Uno de nuestros heroes nacional Arturo Prat Chacon fue bautizado en la parroquia de Ninhue.
Despues del terremoto de 27 febrero 2010, el noventa por ciento de sus casas hechas de adobe estan en el suelo. Con nuestra voluntad y generosidad y la de todos nuestros amigos chilenos y extranjeros podemos hacer una gran diferencia si nos unimos en una cadena de hermandad y solidaridad se puede hacer algo y se van a necesitar voluntarios de todas partes del mundo.
Para esta cruzada del unidad chilena. Asi que hoy empezamos el trabajo o desafio en contra de lo imposible unete a Coipin donde estes en el mundo. DESDE HOY JUNTOS PODEMOS HACER UNA GRAN DIFERENCIA!!!

Esta cruzada es de 100% voluntarios y donaciones. Vamos a poner noticias de diferentes eventos que se vayan realizando para ayudar a Coipin.
