Tarea cumplida MUCHAS GRACIAS ha todas las personas que nos ayudaron en este garage sale voluntarias se pasaron que mas puedo decir la gente de Coipin tienen unos angeles en ustedes, gracias ha todas las personas que nos donaron su tiempo y las cosas para vender y como siempre este grupo de gente que esta trabajando me hace sentir orgullozo de ser chileno y estar rodeado de gente de tan buen corazon GRACIAS HA TODAS se pasaron!!

Garage Sale May 22 & 23/10

Another successful event held to fundraise for Coipin, and due to the kind generosity of the people of Vancouver who stopped by to support our 2-day garage sale, we raised more donations to be sent towards reconstruction efforts in Coipin.

Special thanks to an incredible group of people who were our volunteer workers at this event for a job so well done, many thanks for being so generous with your time and good humour and for 2 days of hard work braving the elements knowing that we were doing so in support of our brothers and sisters in Coipin, for whom the cold & wet winter is just beginning.

We also want to thank everyone, who in some way helped with the fundraising for Coipin this weekend, especially Muriel Honey and her husband Dal Richards for all their donations.

We're holding another garage sale in support of Coipin on Saturday May 22nd and on Sunday May 23rd from11am-5pm at 6550 Butler St. Vancouver, Butler and 49th Ave, one block west of 49th & Tyne. All proceeds of the garage sale are being donated towards purchasing construction materials for Coipin, anyone interested in supporting our efforts please drop by!

Nos estamos descansando nos estamos preparando para el sabado 21 y domingo 22 de mayo el garage sale para ayudar a Coipin desde las 11am hasta 5pm. Esta es la direcion 6550 Butler St. Vancouver, en Butler y 49th Ave, one block west of 49th & Tyne. Avisales a tus amigos en Vancouver los esperamos! Todos lo recaudado es para comprar materiales de construcion para Coipin.

A huge thank you to all the volunteers who spent all day yesterday donating their time to help at the garage sale for Coipin, our event was so successful due to our united efforts. We must sincerely thank everyone at the Panaderia Latina bakery for without their kind and gracious support we could not have held the event. A big thank you to Maria Elena and George for the making of the choripan for Coipin. Thank you to everyone who donated items for the garage sale, because of the high quality of the donations received and the popularity of yesterdays’ sale, we are holding another garage sale with all donations going towards our efforts for the post-earthquake reconstruction of Coipin. Thank you to Mr. Eduardo Olivares at Radio Latino Soy 96.1FM for advertising our event. And always, thank you to the people of Vancouver who support and donate towards our support of Coipin.

Winner of the May 1st raffle in Vancouver Mr. Ed LaPointe, thanks again to everyone who supported our raffle! El ganador de la rifa del primero de mayo el senor Ed LaPointe, muchas gracias a todos por su generosidad!

Yesterday we held our raffle to help the schoolchildren of Coipin. The proceeds of the raffle are being used to buy running shoes, school shoes and jogging suits for the children of the school in Coipin, as well as to buy wood (particle board) to further help the re-construction of the houses of our brothers in Coipin. The winner of the raffle held on May 1, 2010 was Mr. Ed LaPointe. Soon we will post more photos when the donations have arrived at their destination, thanks so much to everyone who bought or sold tickets for this raffle. Thank you again to the Chilean Consul in Vancouver for the donation of the bottles of wine. Thank you friends of Coipin in Vancouver for your support!!

Ayer terminamos nuestra parte para la ayuda de los ninos de la escuela de Coipin. Esta rifa fue para comprarles zapatillas, zapatos y busos a los estudiantes de la escuelita de Coipin. Parte de la ayuda es para comprar planchas de madera prenzada para las casas de nuestros hermanos en coipin. El ganador de la rifa fue Sr. Ed LaPointe. Pronto tendremos mas fotos cuando la ayuda sea entregada, muchas gracias a las personas que compraron o vendieron los tickets en esta rifa. Muchas gracias a la Consul Chilena en Vancouver por la donacion de las botellas de vino. Gracias a los amigos de Coipin de Vancouver por su ayuda, arriva Coipin!
